Get Yo Praise On

Sermon Title: Get Yo Praise On

Scripture: Psalms 100 (KJV)

100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

No matter your situation, you should always have a praise in your mouth for the Lord. Through the good and bad times, the Lord will never leave you behind. It is up to you to follow him.

There’s No Place Like Home

Sermon Title: There’s no place like home

Scriptures: Luke 15: 17-24 (KJV)

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

Additional Reading: Luke 15

You can always come back home. Through the parable of the lost son, we see how God works through the son and the father as he came back home.

The first step in getting somewhere else is realizing that you don’t like where you are at. We must speak for better into existence even when it’s not our current reality. When coming to Jesus, you need to expect a breakthrough. You can always come back home to a father that forever loves you.

The Parable Son

  1. Discovery about who he was
  2. Dialogue about where we was
  3. Decision on where he needed to be
