Life and faith have groomed me in immeasurable ways for shepherding the Lord’s people. I am a native of Southern California and a Licensed Baptist Ordained Minister of the Gospel, holding an earned Master of Divinity in Theological Studies. Theologically and doctrinally, my convictions are evolving, and the burden of expanding the Lord’s kingdom is increasing. I said yes to the Lordship of Jesus Christ at an early age. Under the watchful eye of my childhood pastor and the congregation’s elders, they trained me overtly and covertly in Christian leadership. I owe a life debt to those men and women who poured their lives into me. I am forever grateful for their love, care, discipline, and support. God saved and called me to preach and teach His word in a community of Christians.
I minister with a shepherd’s heart. I lead with a trained theological mind. I also work hard at communicating the politics of the kingdom of God, striving to live in a Christ honoring way where my lips and life are consistently congruent with the Gospel. My strengths include my unwavering faith in God, a strong prayer life, a close-knit family, and a heart for reaching out to lost people. My gifts of grace flow from knowing I am a Christian. My commitment to expositional preaching and teaching has opened tremendous doors and opportunities to lecture and preach the Gospel across the United States.
My mission is to equip people throughout Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and worldwide with the Word of God for the sake of the Kingdom of God, to the Glory of God. This February 2025, my life changed. I once again said yes to the Lordship of Jesus Christ by humbly accepting the call to become the Lead-Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church of Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Quickly, God humbled me by reminding me that He has not called me to pastor buildings but to shepherd His people. When we get to heaven, the Lord is not going to ask us the size of anything; our objective is to remain faithful. My wife, two adult sons, and I are excited about reaching people for heaven’s kingdom and look forward to meeting and serving you.
